Photographing this mature 9 year old was really fun! I think she told me pretty much how to run this shoot. She was going to be happy as long as she got to do her 'super model runway poses'.
Walking around a big lake trying to find the right spot and sun, we set up camp and put a few props up. It was a bank areas where some rather large reeds had been cleared. Feeling pretty squishy but safe underfoot I ventured out further. Then I ventured downwards :( Yes thats right! The bank wasn't as safe as it felt. My left leg was stuck mid thigh length in black swampy muddy sludge and I was having a mini heart attack. Or a rather large heart attack! I though I was going to keep going down.
After all the drama and 9 year old Alana running the shoot, we got a few cute snaps!
