cold day in winter

I would love to say a big thank you to my friend Taylor for modeling for me ... on a freezing ... overcast afternoon!

This shoot was done for a school photography assignment and my own enjoyment and i must say it's actually the best shoot i've been 100% happy with.

When Taylor said they had an old door at home i got so excited and couldn't wait to see it. 'We'll just put it in the middle of the lawn and stand there' we said. It was a pretty cool door but after all our excitement we forgot about it right up until the very end! Because the sun was going down we didn't get many photos with it so i look forward to using it again.

It wasn't all photos. It was wuite an adventureous afternoon. Seeing how many marshmelows we could fit in our mouth was rather entertaining! It was funny watching you sink into the lawn in your gorgeous heels. Hope the mud comes off. As for the pretty dress, I also hope all the dirt comes off it it. I also hope your leg has stopped stinging. Crazy stinging nettles. Most of all i hope you like the photos.

It's amazing what you can find in someones back yard. It was a great afternoon. Thank you Taylor :)

cookie jar

Escape the cold and bake! These 2 gorgeous girls made some very yummy choc chip cookies. It's so cute to watch them bake. Trying to mix all the ingredients in together, sneaking some un-cooked mixture out of the bowl when they though no one was watching, getting so much into the cooking that flour ends up all on their face and then licking their hands clean!

Very tasty cookies girls :)

this is winter

rain....wind and coldd! I really am over winter. My poor cousin froze when we were taking these photos buuut we made the most of it when a little sunshine came out.

During the day we found this gorgeous ginger kitten. It was so cute. Would have been cute to use in some photos. I went over to say hi and the kitty hissed at me and ran away ... so i guess it didn't like me!

Am looking forward to taking more photos of Caitlin in Summer :)

sunshine on a rainy day

Here are two gorgeous girls. I've spent the week with them and i'm sure that they are sick of the camera considering i've taken 200 or more photos of them every day!

This particular early evening was very interesting..... This wasn't a shoot we'd planned so the poor girls were shoved into some dresses and had their hair quickly done and pushed into the car.

We were running out of sun light. It really wasn't the best idea going to get photos! It was cold and the girls were a bit tired. We had tantrums! It was actually all worth it because i managed to get a few snaps.

Thank you girls so much for a fantastic week. And thanks Renee and Bronte for having meeeee :)

the little things

Two little pretties. I don't see them often but it was wonderful to spend a little time with them this week. Such quiet little girls with gorgeous personalities.

Today they held a big sale at their home. I was sitting down eating lunch when some play money was delivered to me and 'big sale' posters were stuck on walls in the house. A few minutes later little voices yell out that a sales on. 5 of us rushed in to find a table filled with little flowers made out of wammies and some chocolate bars on the table. 1 chocolate for 80c or 2 for $1.

Little kids and their imagination is amazing :)
